Ok, here's what happened. I ordered and waited and waited and it never came so I checked back with her and she said it should be there so I'll make you a new one. I said ok, you don't have to do that, but that'd be great. It took awhile but she did make me a new one and mailed it to me. It is wool and it is horribly scratchy. I could never put it on a baby. I can hardly stand to touch it. So I haven't said anything to her yet. I don't want a refund because she sent me two of them and I don't think that'd be fair, and I don't want a replacement because it will probably have the same issue, and I don't want any other mamas to get scratchy wool.
I haven't ever given a bad review as in "this product is the worst thing I have ever seen, don't even think about getting it", but I've written plenty of reviews that have negative aspects to them.<br><br>
It sounds to me from your experience that your review would actually be very balanced. The customer service was good, as she responded to your emails promptly, and even went above and beyond the call of duty by replacing the product that was lost in the mail. You don't like the *product* and it's perfectly okay to say that and why. I don't think you need to do a "warning" type post like people do when they get ripped off. Simply stating the facts about the product (it's so scratchy you can't even stand to touch it) is enough, people will be "warned."<br><br>
I conditioned it with hair conditioner and then washed it with wow liquid. Can't find my lanolin at the moment (toddlers.. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll"> ) but I'll try that next. I write bad reviews when I get bad products. End of story. I don't contact the WAHM unless I think it is a mistake, if it appears to be just the way the product is I review it. I'm not all going off trashing people but if I waited 3 months or is the diaper is just sub-par I want to let people know. I know there are many dipes I wish I had seen some reviews for before I bought!
