Well, today for Easter dinner I decided to make some vegetarian baked beans. I soaked the beans overnight and this morning brought them to a boil and let them sit for an hour. Then followed my recipe which does not even call for the preboiling. Well they have now been baking on 350 for 4.5 hrs and they are still not completely soft? Whats the deal w these beans? I keep adding liquid but it seems like it taking forever.
