Another thread so as not to hijack...

Any thoughts on Skuut or Bino balance bikes? Both are available on Ebay for less than $100. I had also looked at the Smart Gear, which is about $100.

We just got a $40 bike from TRU and didn't put the pedals on it. DS used it as a balance bike for 2 months and then seemed ready for the pedals, so we put them on and he was good

I just wanted to share in case it helps any

I posted on the other thread too but thought I should post here as well.

We used a 2 wheeled scooter (one of those razor ones, $30 at target) and it worked wonderfully. DD still rides her scooter just as much as her bike.

We have a Skuut. It's sturdy, durable and well-made. DD loves it. We'd both recommend it.

We found a Strider for $70 online. It is lighter than the wooden bikes and will probably last longer?
