Wanted to know if anyone else was planning on going so we could possibly set up camp together (blankets and chairs). there is a website with info for anyone interested http://www.baic.org/powwows/

I went with DH, DD, DS, and my brother and SIL...and it was really nice. I think it would be much better at Quiet Waters Park as the park in Baltimore was kind of junky. We were there for the Eagle Dancers which was GREAT! I love them, and then I went to look around at the venders - got some nice things, and then DH said he was about to melt so we had to leave. It was really muggy and gross, and so if there are any that are NOT in August I'd love to go to another one. I went to the American Indian Heritage day down in Prince Fredrick a couple weeks back and even though it was smaller, the great circle was bigger and they were down a small slope so you could see better even if you were on a blanket. Now-a-days everyone has those fold-up chairs and they were all seated so close to the Great Circle and it was a flat area that if you were on blankets behind them you couldn't see anything. But other than the weather and the view, it was nice.
