I tried a few recently and they are at the bottom of my diaper stash -- they don't hold quite enough for my heavy wetter. I find that the covers are always saturated no matter how quickly I change him. I also like to leave him coverless quite a bit when we are at home and I wouldn't DREAM of putting the bamboozle on him for this because it is completely saturated after a single pee. So, I wouldn't personally buy them again, I'll probably off mine at a diaper swap soon. I have a friend (bought them on her urging) that likes them fair enough, but for the price you can get a really nice organic velour Swaddlebees! hehe I'm partial, they are my faves.<br><br>

I was reading the reviews on diaperpin and it's like you love em, or u hate em. Anyways, I ordered one the other day so I hope I'm in the love em camp.

I have one, and so far, my DS soaks it pretty quickly. But I have read that it doesn't really reach its optimal absorbancy until like, 20 washes. So hopefully in a couple weeks, I'll like it better?

We have a bunch of the Bamboozles. I only use them at night for my dd. While I do like them, it's a love hate relationship.<br>
First of all, yes....they do need a cover. I usually use a wool cover since I just use them for overnight.<br>
IMO, you need an insert (I use a fleece topped microfiber doubler) b/c the bamboo stays wet. Which is fine, it keeps my dd drier and adds absorbancy, but it also adds bulk. Pair all that with a cover and you have one big bulky diaper! That's why we only use them at night.<br>
But, I have to say....my dd is a belly sleeper and getting to be a heavy wetter and we rarely have a leak. These can hold alot.<br>
They also take a loooong time to dry on low, the recommended setting. HTH!

I did my own little absorbancy test with some new ones and some that had been through the wash plenty of times. I put them each in a bowl and poured the same amount of water over each. I didn't see any real difference.<br>
I know it wasn't the most scientific experiment, but it was fun! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

i bought some thinking they would be great and i didn't like them. way too expensive, and with a cover they are too bulky. should've spent the same money and bought some AIO's.
