My dh put some diaper rash ointment on dd's bum before putting her in her Happy Heinys before bedtime, and after I washed them I could still see some ointment on the diaper. I washed them several more times since then, but the pee seems to run right out of the leg every time I try to use them. How can I get them back to proper working order?

Well, I am sure some more experienced mamas can give you better advice...but I know that I used a barrier cream on my son and it stained 3 of his HHs. I was upset, and decided to use spray n wash to try to get it out. It worked for me. And I don't have any repelling issues either. Of course, I cannot say how spray n wash affects them long term....someone else might know that one<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

That happened to one of mine once. Linda told me to hand wash it with some dish soap and a soft bristled brush to get all the gunk off. I did that and then rinsed it several times by hand with hot water and then put it in the washing machine on hot to make sure there were no bubbles.
