I usually turn all the heaters in the house completely off when I leave the house, and then when I get home I turn them on to the comfort zone or whatever to warm up, then turn them back down to maybe 55 or 60? My coworker says you should leave the baseboard heater on low while you are at work and the house is empty to keep the house at a livable temperature, and she says you save money by not cranking them up when you come home.

Does anyone know which is accurate?

I know if we use baseboard heat our living room would heat up within minutes from no heat at all. I would think that would be a lot less electricty than having it on low for hours on end.
