How hot do you let the water get for your dc's bath? Dh and I like to bath with dd, but sometimes we get uncomfortably chilly because we're worried about the bath being too hot....

Since Ds's first bath, Dh and I have always used our elbow as a temperature guage. If it feels too hot on the elbow then we turn it down. Ds has always seemed okay with this method and we have no reason to believe that it has ever been uncomfortable for him. Dh usually takes baths with Ds and he seems comfy too!

My daughter likes hot baths. From day one (well, eight or so, I guess), she'd cry if she was in a lukewarm bath.

So, fairly hot it is.

We don't make it very hot. We actually now have a little bath thermometer and a temp of about 97 seems nice and warm without being too hot. (The range of the thermometer is only from 90-100 degrees.

We always shower and DS comes in with us, but he likes to take a bath sometimes for fun - probably a few times a week.

DS likes a pretty warm bath. Plus sometimes he stays in so long to play that it needs to start out hot to still be warm by the time he's done

When I bathe with him, I make it comfortable for me. He does fine

I've never used a thermometer ever... if it's comfy for me, it's comfy for them.

I make it pretty hot, hot enough that I wouldn't mind bathing in it. He gets too cold if it's lukewarm.

my DD's like it pretty warm/hot.
Sometimes their little legs and bottoms are even pink when they get out. They've never complained, but the little one will shiver if I make it too cool.
