Hi everyone:

Does anyone have any experience with BBT fluctuations during preg? My temp was much lower this morning ... I'm wondering if this means miscarriage. Maybe I'm just driving myself crazy? It dropped to 97.77 -- still above the cover line of 97.36 (but my temp has been in the 98's for the past 11 days). This stinks.

From my understanding as long as your bbt is above coverline you're 'okay'....or at least thats what I gleaned from TCOYF.

I think that the only thing thats going to come from bbt is worry.

As long as it's above the coverline, and doesn't keep dropping, I wouldn't worry. It's normal to have occasional fluctuating temps. Did you wake earlier than normal this morning? Was your room colder?

Hope it's back to normal tomorrow!

Thanks for your support. My temp is back to normal this morning. I put the thermometer away in the bathroom cabinet ... no more BBT tracking for me. No longer a helpful thing. No other symptom changed recently, and yes, I've had some sleep-deprived days (which I know could cause bbt changes). I'm going to try to be a bit gentler with myself.

It is amazing to me that I have tended to fixate on the negative possibilities during this pregnancy -- not my usual way of thinking. And not really how I'd like to bring a new life to the world! I've been learning a lot about myself so far, let me tell you.

I had to do the same thing. My BBT dropped every few days. Even though I knew it was a pattern for me, every day that had a dip scared me! Better not to have unnecessary stress like that.
