I haven't decided what we'll do with our $400 yet, but I thought I'd give your thread a 'bump'! I'll post again when I decide!

Well my gas to drive to and from work is too flipping expensive...so I'll be using the money to pay bills that have been put to the side because my gas is costing so much more.

Thanks so much to our government for thinking of the idea of putting a tax on our already huge gas prices. Will make things even better for our family.

when we finally file our taxes and receive it, it will just be going to pay off debt, but we always try our best to be kind to the earth so I'm ok with it. If i had a house i'd improve it, but we don't live anywhere at the moment! Maybe I'l get my van tuned up with some of the money.

We are putting the money toward new windows. We were going to be getting them anyway. We've been slowly making a bunch of improvments on our home and will continue to do so but this will make the windows happen a little sooner. Plus the old windows will become cold frames for my garden and help reduce my need for food shipped long distances.

I donated my money to a campaign to preserve a local vegetable farm. We're trying to raise money for The Land Conservancy to buy the farm and keep it as food-producing land forever, since the ALR is pretty useless for preserving farmland as farmland. I buy nearly all of my veg there, so it's kind of an investment in affordable, local, healthy food for us.
