DH and I DTD yesterday morning. I have been taking my BBT in the am and the evening and I know I ovulated sometime between 9am and 8pm today. I think the chances of conceiving are good with this timing, and although we will be thrilled either way, we do have some preference for a girl. This was my first month of charting in years, so it was hard to pinpoint O, but I am extremely regular and could predict within a day or two without charting. I had planned to chart for more months and do a bit more research about Shettles and O+12 methods, but I'm 37 and I also really want a Virgo baby, if possible, and we just couldn't wait for proper charting and all of that, so we decided to go for it.

We conceived both our DSs on the first try on the day of O without charting. I know 3-4 days before O is optimal for a girl according to Shettles, but I have also heard lots of conflicting info about that method. I guess we could always try the O+12 as a backup, right?

Again, we just want a healthy baby, but it is fun to speculate about gender.

Anyone BD the day before O and end up with a girl? Anyone end up with a girl using O+12?

Thanks, Mama*Pisces--that thread is where I first heard of O+12.
I have done some research, but there doesn't seem to be much info out there about it.

Anyone else have any input or experience with TTC a girl? TIA
