do you have this book? If you do can you please tell me what the last 2 pages say. a few years a go a neighbor got it in her creal or somehtign and gave it to us. DD was still little and she ripped out the page and flushed it. The book has reappeared and I do love it but I can't rmember how it ended. It should be the part about how they all popcorn again and everyone falls asleep exceot the bear. Something like that...
Mouse squeaks, "Don't fret.
Don't fuss. Look, see?
We can pop more corn!
We can brew more tea!"

Bear gulps. Bear gobbles.
He sighs with delight.
Then he spins tall tales
through the blustery night.

When the sun peeks up
on a crisp, clear dawn,
Bear can't sleep...

But his friends snore on.

It's very popular around here - I have it memorized : I double checked the book though just to make sure.

Hee! I just had to peek at this when I saw the thread title--a current favorite at our house, too. Especially the sneezing part. DD (15 months) makes me skip all the way to it and then yells "Ahhh-Boom!"

eta: we have the board book version. Not sure the regular one would hold up in our house, either!

We love that book! Ds actually had the whole thing memorized when we were reading it regularly. There's another one that's just as fun called "Bear Wants More." The drawings and poetry are awesome. Also, the same author (but different illustrator, I think) has a funny book called something like "Frog in the Bog." The rhymes are very clever and ds loves hearing the rhythm of the words.

We love these books as well. Isn't it funny how some things are universal toddler pleasers?
