I bought a bag of weevilly basmati rice a few months ago, I got rid of it, but we still get the odd rice weevil now and then (they're actually pretty cool looking. Like tiny little black rhinoceroses). Our real problem right now is these little itty bitty reddish brown beetles. THey're EVERYWHERE and driving me nuts! They seem to be falling out of our heating vents! We find them the most under the vent on our dining room table. We live in a small apartment. While I am not a great housekeeper, I clean the counters and vacuum regularly, so I have no idea what they're eating. Like I said, they seem to be living in our heating vents. What could they possibly be eating in there??? I googled and figured out that they're "confused flour betles." I'll say they're confused! (That's the actual name. I'm not really calling them confused, even though they sure are! LOL!) This is exactly what we have. Any idea how to get rid of them? I've looked through everything, and we have no food that is infested. Our pantry closet is on the opposite end of the kitchen from that vent anyway. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/headscratch.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="headscratch"> Any ideas? TIA!
