I ordered a few of the Bellabottoms the other day and they just arrived...I got one terry fitted, one hemp fitted and then a pocket dipe with fleece inside....they are all so darn soft and they feel super fluffy too....I am quite impressed with them. Just wondering if anyone has used them and if they hold up good and are good with a heavy wetting baby? I like that the fitteds are from 8-35 or 40 lbs so if they are good, I might just have to stock up...esp since they were a really good price ($8 for the terry fitted and $10 for the hemp fitted) and the pocket dipe goes up to 22 lbs I think plus it was a good price as well ($12 which included a hemp tri layer super soaker)...anyway, just wondering if anyone else has used them...I'd love to hear what you think....mine are in the wash as we speak so I can try them out.

I did have some but just finished selling them because I wanted to go back to all prefolds. If I were sticking with fitteds I definitely would have kept them. The solid colored terry ones are more absorbent than the ones with flannel outer prints. My 28-lb 20-month-old fit in them great, EXCEPT the snap parts left marks on his tummy. I think that's my main complaint; the snap parts aren't hidden.

But for the price they are a GREAT diaper and worth getting a few to try if you are wanting a true onesize fitted.

As for how well they hold up; sorry I can't help with that one; I didn't have ours very long at all.

I have one of the fitteds and one of the pockets and I LOVE them! The pocket was actually the first diaper I bought when I decided I would take the plunge and CD this baby, now she is about to outgrow it! They are so awesome! I want to get some more of the fitteds. I didn't know the solid colors would be more absorbant! Maybe I will have to get one of those as I have the jungle print one. Both appear to hold up just fine. The pocket still looks brand new and the fitted is doing well but we have only had that one about 6 weeks but it looks like it will hold up really well!

Thanks for the comments! I used the Hemp fitted with a Hemp tri fold doubler last night underneath a Bear Bottoms fleece cover...I figured it would be soaked by the time we got up this morning since Tommy decided to nurse off and on all night long...but I was shocked this morning....the hemp dipe wasn't even damp but the trifold doubler was soaked...I'm sure I need to try it a few more times before deciding that I love it...but so far, so good! I have the terry fitted on him right now so we'll see how that one works...it does have a flannel print on the outside so I will probably get some of the solid ones next time I order (I never thought about them being more absorbant but that makes sense). I am a bit worried about the snaps not being hidden...but I'll just see if they leave marks. Anyway, so far I'm impressed...this is the first fitted I have used overnight that wasn't even damp (and I always use at least one doubler in all my fitteds at night)...usually only my pocket dipes are okay by morning and I assume that's because the fleece pulls the moisture away and it's all contained inside the inserts. Now I just need to see if these fitteds will fit under my Lovebums wool!

There is no soaker.....the crotch area of the dipe does have extra absorbancy/material in the center inside but no sewn in doubler at all....I got a hemp tri fold doubler that is pretty thin but it absorbed very well...I just folded it and laid it inside my fitted.....and I washed and dried these last night and they took NO time at all to dry....I don't think any of my dipes have ever dried that fast other than my pocket dipes which I normally hang to dry anyway.....they are super soft too....sometimes hemp dipes feel a bit stiff to me until they are washed and dried a few times, but the hemp fitted was extremely soft when it arrived yesterday (not sure if they wash the material a few times before they make the dipe or what? it feels as soft as a t-shirt though) and of course the terry/flannel fitted was very soft too. I think I'm going to get a few more of those hemp tri folds too....since they are thin but absorbant, I was thinking I could fold them and lay them horizontally across the front of Tommy's fitted dipes since we sometimes have issues with the front of the dipe getting more soaked. I tried the flannel terry dipe this morning with a hemp tri fold in it and it did great....my son had a huge, bf poo accident this morning that was pretty liquidy and it all shot up and off the tri fold and into the dipe around the leg opening....but it didn't soak through to the outside of the dipe and get on my cover and it didn't come out of the leghole either....maybe it would have if I hadn't changed him so quickly...but a lot of my other fitteds would have immediately leaked or came out of the leghole (as a matter of fact, I put a Doodlebottoms fitted on him right after and he pooed again and it came out all over the place and was all over his fleece cover)....so I'm still impressed so far.

I think you may have convinced me. I was looking for a quick dry but these sound good if I add in a doubler. I'm not a fan of trifold doublers (or hemp) but I can get some fleece topped doublers and put those in. My dd is inbetween mediums and larges and I need some fitteds but when I choose medium, they're too small and when I choose large, they're too big, so the one-size seems to be the way to go. Thanks for the recommendation and review.

Yeah...definitely try one and if you like them, you can order more. And I'm not sure if the doubler I was talking about is actually a tri fold....that's what they are called on her site but when I think of tri fold, I think of the kind that have 3 compartments that you fold together (kind of like a smaller prefold) but these are more like flats....they are completely flat and you just fold them whichever way you want...to me, they are more versatile than an actual tri-fold (or what I think of when I think of a tri fold)....and the hemp is the softest hemp I have ever felt....anyway, just thought I'd add that...good luck with the fitteds! Hopefully I haven't steered you wrong but I really like them so far.
