Mostly support, during and after. I'm doing mine pp. After my kids I'm usually in horrible pain from everything dropping down, especially when I stand. when your diaphram takes a 6 inch drop in a matter of minutes, the body kinda flips you off! I find it much harder to breath those first days while standing. I walk hunched over and all. I think the binding help a lot!

You can do it during pregnancy for support also. Women in asia do it a lot. It's almost like wearing a belly bra!!!
I'm going to try an ace bandage to start (we have a relatively small one in the cupboard... one that's not 20 feet long) and see how that goes.... I hate the "insides sloshing around" feeling I got. Plus laughing was way too weird for me after I had DS. It felt like I had Jell-O in my belly!

How to? When to start? When to stop? What to use? Any cons?

It says to wear it 24/7 for 40 days PP immediately after giving birth.
