I am so in awe of your abs, NamastePlatypus! I'm going to have to do something about my own if all of this athleticism isn't just hormonal and it doesn't evaporate as soon as dc is born.

I'm definitely in, although I'm struggling with my new digicam. I was very good about taking monthly belly pics with Chris and I just LOVE looking back on them now.

You all are adorable, with your little bitty bumps.

I do have to laugh, not at you, but at myself. My belly is much bigger than yours are now even when I'm not pregnant. I'm 43 and have had three full term pregnancies. I've had two/cs so I have next to no muscle support in my lower abdomen (even with the exercizes that are supposed to help). I can get a tummy tuck which will make it look better, but the muscles won't ever function again at anything close to a normal level. Even when my weight was way down, a year or so ago, and I was not pregnant, I looked about the size I'm guessing you two will be at maybe 7 mos.

Gotta laugh or cry, I choose to laugh!

Oh come on Elly!

I've lost a lot of weight (80 lb!) I know all about being bigger, believe me. And my 4w pic is in the other thread. I plan to take pictures every Sunday.

Want me to post them here every week?

Yeah, sod it. Let's go have our own fluffy mums bump thread (with tummy control pants in the early days so the flab gets lifted up and we look even MORE pregnant.) ALL Bumps are beautiful, not just the skinny bumps.
And yes, my photos will be coming later, but right now I'm wearing my dressing gown and I look like I'm 9 months gone with elephants. NOT a good look.

Ellymay, I think you're beautiful too. That shade of pink looks fabulous on you.

Sheesh, I'm embarassed at all the compliments and being compared to the beautiful Miss Platypus. Don't be scared, first time mamas; our bodies are beautiful and they are supposed to look like this, not like plastic barbie dolls. We aren't sex toys, we're MOTHERS.

And for the record, I am 42 and have had three vaginal births. I do not consider myself the slightest bit attractive, but I love my body when it does the things I want it to do and doesn't hurt. My stretch marks have faded because my last birth was 16 years ago. I weighed 198 lbs the day before dd was born and didn't get out of maternity clothes until she was 9 or ten months old.

I have also been underweight and looked like a walking corpse. I'd rather be fluffy any day!

I LOVE that blog. Kathryn, MDC's homebithing goddess of triplets, is on there somewhere and she is gorgeous, just like all the other mamas.

There's another body positive site I like that has non-pornographic pictures of all the different ways real breasts can look like. that I have wanted to post a link to in the preteen and teen forum SO many times, but I've always been afraid to since it does show nudity and I wonder what people would think of me for advocating showing teenagers of both genders what real women look like.

Awe y'all are sweet! I am really not selfconcious about myself except how big my arms have gotten that bugs me more than anything. I don't mind my overly streched out map of a belly LOL....
