Maybe it's just the requisite labeling, but it says on the side to "consult your doctor if pregnant/nursing". I used it this morning anyway because I'm such a rebel that way, and I had some great erm... movement... later on. It felt good to not be all stopped up from the extra iron I've been intaking...
