Please share the best baby items you've found! What do you LOVE to use that everyone should know about? I'm particularly interested in *alternatives* to conventional products. Please include links where available so we can all ooh and ahh!

Thanks!

This is one of my faves:
http://www.californiababy.com/calendula-cream-2-oz.html

I bought it when DS was getting angry red rashes on his face from teething in the coldest part of the winter. My ped had recommended A&D ointment but I hated how it smelled- so chemically, and also reminded me of the way nursing homes smell. This stuff smells fresh and lovely, doesn't seem to bother DS, and really soothed his skin.

Bonus: It worked great to get rid of the dry skin on my hands too! And now I use it as a face cream. Schweet!

Also, this isn't alternative in the way that you mean, but it's one of my favorite baby produts:
http://www.cloudsandstars.com/page/page/1958393.htm

makes changing sheets so easy!

Cetaphil isn't exactly alternative, but it sure beats Johnson's or any baby specific cleanser. It really helps with my baby's eczema.
