I have an opportunity to do a presentation and enlighten some people on natural birth/midwives.... anyone have any suggestions for the best video?

Well, it's an unassisted video (and granted most mainstream people aren't ready for it) of the birth of twins - one footling breech.

For "regular" folk, I really like Birth Day or even A Clear Road to Birth segments. It's less shocking, but still eye-opening.
Oh yeah, Psalm and Zoya. It's truly amazing. I think it's a good one to show people b/c it shows them almost anyone can have a homebirth, Ya know what I mean?
It's hard to say what is THE BEST. Psalm and Zoya is awesome, Birth Day is awesome, Birth Into Being is awesome, Gentle Birth Choices is great, Birth in the Squatting posistion is a classic, I like to show "I watched my brother be born" to siblings.
It's hard to say, for me, which is THE best.
Oh gosh, I can't remember the name, but they showed it at my ALACE training. It was 3 different births: one at home, one at a birth center, and one at a hospital. Totally awesome, I wish everyone could see it.

Born in the USA. It is great, people get a good idea of how births happen in different settings

oh, yeah, Birth in the Squatting Position. I forgot about that one! I used to have a copy, but I lost it.

Erika, was the video Born in the USA? I heard that was a GREAT documentary on birth - and very favorable towards midwives.

Just steer clear of Special Delivery. Ack.

Yeah, it was just a documentary so it wasn't pushy in any way but you could totally see that the homebirth was the gentle-est, nice-est, everything-est; the birth center was fairly gentle, nice, etc; the hospital was bright white and sterile and hospital-y. I think a woman could really get an idea of what she felt best about by watching it. For me, I was like, OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE A HOMEBIRTH. I've already done a hospital (my twins) and a birth center (my singleton).

Now if only there were a homebirth midwife in Yuma, Arizona

I love Birth in the Squatting Position. It is so quiet, calm, and just shows a normal birth. The others are wonderful, but it is so short and to the point.

Yeah, I think if I had the opportunity to try and educate a bit about natural birth, I'd go for Born in the USA....how could anyone walk out of seeing the video and want to go to the hospital? If you're speaking to people who already KNOW birth as a normal, natural process, then this video would be preaching to the choir, as they say.
Thanks for the great advice! Just wanted to get some opinions, I really want to show a great example of a natural birth- I wish I could just bring them with me to a natural birth, they would definitely understand the difference!
