My 3 month-old has started getting bad reflux now that I've returned to work and he takes 1-3 bottles of pumped breastmilk each day. We've been using the Playtex drop-in bottles with newborn slow-flow nipples, and still need something better, apparently.<br><br>
The nanny knows to hold him pretty vertical during and after feedings. Part of the problem may be that he gulps it down so fast!<br><br>
Suggestions for a better bottle or other tricks?

I have heard good things about the Dr Brown's bottles, although I haven't tried them yet myself.

Born Free bottles. A bit of an investment, but absolutely worth it.

Is the nanny pacing the bottle feedings and not trying to make baby finish off each bottle? How many oz. is baby taking in? A slow-flow nipple is crucial.<br><br>

Any born free bottles? I actually have some that I haven't opened yet - or are you talking about a specific type?

It's the little valve thingny in the born free bottles that helps. I think all of them have it. Maybe take them out and try one to see if it has it and if it's any help for your babe. That's lucky you already have some!
