Ds is 3yo, and still fits in his Roundabout, which we love, but we want to get a seat for our other car and figure we might as well get one that he can use now but won't outgrow soon.

Any recommendations?

We looooooooooooooooooooove the Wizard (I say "we" because ds actually adores it). It's so easy to install - way easier than the Roundabout ever was for me. With minimal effort it's rock solid.

I thought the "wings" around his head would be a problem because he's kind of touchy about his head, but they don't even phase him. And they keep his posture nice and straight when he falls asleep.

It goes up to 65 lbs.... I'm not sure of the height, but ds had just outgrown his roundabout, and he has plenty of growing room.

We moved DS, 3.5, up from Roundabout to the Britax Marathon about 8 months ago and we really like it. DS is a pretty big kid, 41" and 40 lbs. and I think the seat will still fit him well for another couple of years. In fact we just bought another one for DD, 14 mos., last week and the first time I put her in it she gave a big ear to ear grin and started swinging her feet--of course she may have just been tickled about facing forward for the first time.

One of the things that I really like about this carseat is that it is so easy to take apart to clean--DS gets carsick, so for me, this was an important feature. Also, even after many washings, it still looks new (we have the arctic cat cover).

We have the Britax Marathon in my car, and the Graco (can't remember the name now) belt positioning booster in dh's car. I really like both. What I really like about the belt positioning booster is that it is SO easy to move from car to car. I grab this one if we ever bum a ride with another mama somewhere. I feel both are just as safe.
