Best/cheapest place to buy Singapore Math

804 Views 8 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  chalupamom
Primary 1A and B? I got a Singapore EarlyBird workbook somewhere and my kid is hooked. Anyone know the best/cheapest with shipping place to buy these. She wants to see the textbook too.

I figured you frugal moms would know!

Thanks!

The Singapore books seem to be reasonably inexpensive no matter where you buy them. I've mostly bought mine from Sonlight, although ordering from them is kind of a pain. The Rainbow Resource catalog sells two versions of the "Singapore Method" and are comparably priced - maybe within 50 cents or so of Sonlight. You can also sometimes find them on e-bay, but it's hit-or-miss and with shipping you're not that much farther ahead.
Thanks Chalupa mom! Besides the publisher, I guess I'm wondering if there is a "secular" place that sells them.....

I haven't found a secular vendor - but not for lack of looking!
Thanks for saving me the legwork! I really appreciate it. My math nut is getting really antsy for more.

Secular. Lots of sample pages. They carry the whole line of math, science, grammar and language books.
I haven't been able to order successfully directly from the publisher! Theoretically one can, though.

Sorry to hear you've had a problem. Do you mind sharing its nature? I've never had a problem, though I find the website can be a bit funky (some pages crash Firefox). They're also very helpful if you call. Though they're not the publisher; I believe they're the NA distributor.

I just always got tie ups, blank pages, page not found errors, and so on. I usually use Firefox and even switched over to Explorer, with no luck. That's why I ended up ordering from Sonlight, which is annoying in its own special way. Maybe I'll try Rainbow Resource next time!
