DD's daycare provider now uses a pro-wrap with a prefold.
However, she will be starting a new daycare (we are moving across state) and it is much more like a preschool with real "teachers" and such. They have no problem with cloth, but it needs to be like a fuzzy bunz, happy heiny, or something like an AIO. I have made some homemade AIO's and I have some fuzzy bunz.

This needs to be EASY for them to stay with it (no plastic pants). Cost is somewhat of a factor, but all AIO's are about the same price. She is tiny and skinny, 19 pounds at a 1 1/2 years!

Thoughts?

We use fuzzi bunz at dd's daycare center, and her teachers really like them. If I was doing it again, I probably would have picked a pocket like happy heinys that uses hook and loop closures; we occasionally have leaking problems with the FB's if the teacher forgets to do up one of the snaps.

I used HHs when DD was in daycare (I also sent cloth wipes). I tried sending FBs but they never seemed to understand the need to snap at the waist AND at the hip. Only one dipe was thrown away in the year I was there, so they seemed to get the CD concept.

i would prestuff the HH's and then I provided a small flip-top diaper pail with a step-on "release" for them to use (I was required to provide a covered container that they could open/close without needing to touch with their hands).

We use fuzzi bunz. I have a big stash (gotta love craigslist and livejournal) and send most of my dipes at the begining of the week and take a fresh wetbag everyday.

It works well for us
We definately had a learning curve but now everything is ok.

We use Swaddlebees pockets because they are trim and fit under most clothes just fine. We have mostly applix ones but do have some side-snap ones as well. There's never been an issue with her DCP not doing the snaps up correctly, but I find that applix just fits her better overall. She just dumps them into the wetbag and when we get home, we unstuff them and spray off any poop.

Now that there's the Pocket Change dipes, I'd have definitely considered that. Unstuffing pockets is no fun, but it's even worse when the dipe has been sitting in the wetbag all day.
