Darling Diapers wipes. I love the ones with flannel on one side and velour, terry, or sherpa on the other side. I used to have a collection of different wipes, but got rid of everything else so that I could justify buying more of these!

My favorite wipes are SOS, made of 2 layers of knit terry. Yesterday I wiped Ariel w/a cheapo doz. for $1 washcloth and she complained that it hurt!

My favorites are from www.emibeans.com beacuse you get to pick from beautiful fabrics. I have some for wipes and some for washcloths.

I will second the Emibeans wipes-she has custom slots open and tons of beautiful fabrics, and she's got great CS.

Another good one is Littlelounginglizards.com-her wipes are so plush.

Sugarpea's organic cotton sherpa! They are yum! http://sugarpeas.wahmart.com/Store/W...t.asp?One=1283

Ya know, to be honest, I have 2 favorites. One for when the baby is very young and exlusively breastfed, and one for later, when baby starts solids.
For a newborn, I think the gerber baby terry washcloths are perfect because you don't need a lot for that stage, but do tend to use MANY! They are so thin that you can stack a bunch in a wipe warmer and they don't take up a lot of space in the diaper pail or washer.
Then, later, when poops tend to be messier, you do need something with a little extra oomph. I really like some I got from www.countrycuttins.com as freebies with an order. They were baby terry on one side, and soft flannel on the other, and were about 8x8 in size. They are so perfect!
But I do know a lot of ladies like velour. I thought I liked it, but then realized that I was avoiding them, picking through the stack to choose others, and someone here pointed out that the texture can be irritating in a kind of phychological way (kinda like scratching a chalk board) and I realized that's why I don't like them!! I always hold the flannel side and then don't like the way it seems to feel on my kiddo's skin as I wipe him off! Wierd, huh? It reminds me of toweling him off with a synthetic sham. Blahdelehdulah!

I ordered wipes from darling diapers and from littlelounginglizards and have been very pleased with both. I have organic sherpa/velour, velour/flannel, and plain velour wipes, and I have to say the all velour ones are my favorite. I recommend ordering one or so of each to see which you like best before making your big purchase. It seems that everyone has a different favorite. I would like the velour/flannel ones best because they're so cute, but the flannel starts looking faded really quickly so they don't hold up as well as the all velour ones.

I was just looking at EmiBeans and she has a grab bag where she will send you a dozen wipes of assorted fabrics and sizes for $7.75. This seems like a good, inexpensive way to try out some different kinds and see what you like best.

I just have more questions, sorry. Has anyone tried Kissaluvs wipes and/or diaper lotion potion?

Right now I have MoE all fleece wipes which are my absolute most favorite thing in the world on runny noses and messy faces, but they're a bit labor intensive on poopy bottoms. I also have thin cheap terry wipes that are a bit rough on baby skin. I've been considering the kissaluvs but would love feedback first.

Thanks,
i have the kissaluvs wipes...havent tried the potion but have the wipes.. I think the wipes are a little on the rough side..they are really good for grabing the poop but honestly idont like that you can only use one side of the wipe ykwim...and they arent the softest things out there...i think the ones Michelle from SMJAE used to make were by far my favorite....

I was low on wipes (because the wipes steals them : and I bought Old Navey Terry Cloth Wash Cloths 6/$3.99. They're thick and soft. I like them. Other than that, I like flannel/velour or flannel/sherp or flannel/terry.

I absolutely adore the Darling Diapers flannel and sherpa wipes. The sherpa is so soft, but has more grabbing power than the velour, because of the texture. I love the velour ones for wiping my daughter's face though - they are really soft.

1/2 way down the page, I think they say 1.25 per wipe, they are plain color with primary stiching around the edges.

I agree. The Fuzzi Bunz wipes kick butt! Thay are very rich feeling to me. I use them with plain warm water, no wipe solution necessary.

I love our wipes from Growing Greens. I got them from http://www.smartiepantsdiapers.com (they are the "standard hemp wipe) I have the one layer ones and they're perfect for on the go in the Huggies travel container because you can take a bunch.

I also like a few of the momma wipes I've gotten recently... one from Candy at BBH and one from another wahm but I can't remember which! They're 1/2 hemp and 1/2 velour or knit.
