Best double jogging stroller?

My lovely SIL is pregnant with twins, and DH and I want to get a jogging stroller for them. She's going to register for one, but she's not sure which to choose, so I thought I'd ask here and see if there's one that comes highly recommended.

We recently had a long thread on twin strollers, check it out:

One of the top jogging picks was the Mountain Buggy Urban Double (MBUD), which is not quite a jogging stroller, but close and could be used as one. Also popular is the BOB. They are pricely, so you might want to go in with another family member as a gift.

Great idea though, your sister will be thrilled!

Mountain Buggy Urban Double (MBUD) ... I bought mine after reading the recommendations here. I love it!

It's pricey (I found mine on returnsforsale.com), and heavy, but other than that, I love it.

Thank you, I browsed through that thread but didn't realize that the MBUD could be used as a jogging stroller. I'll check it out!

i just got a valco trimode, and the thing is awesome. very solid. kind of heavy, but it is what it is.... it seems like it'll wear extremely well.

Before I became preg this time I was running with my MBUD five miles, four times a weeks. So it was put to the test.We have had ours for five years and it is still going strong.

I have a BOB Sport Utility Duallie that I found used on Craigslist, it was practically new and I got a great deal on it. I absolutely love it!
I have a Baby Jogger and a Valco and prefer the BJ. I loathe my Valco, though. LOL I've seen the BJ true joggers and they are nice so if she is looking for a true jogger that might be better than the MBUD. It really depends how much jogging she'll be doing with it.
for a true jogging/running stroller, you can't do better than a Chariot.

I second the Chariot. It's great as a jogging stroller but also is so versatile, it can be converted into a bike trailer or towed while xc skiing. With the cover and rain fly down, I was able to take my twins out in pretty cold weather, knowing that they were cozy inside.
