I am new to CD. I am building my stash, for this baby and the one I'm TTC, and a big part of the money saving is going to be using all of the receiving blankets I got when DD was born as flats.<br><br>
Anyway, I can find directions for origami fold, kite fold, and a few others, but need expert hints- what fold do you recommend for flannel receiving blankets?

I would use whatever fold you wanted to at that moment (the beauty of flats <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">) I like the newspaper fold I think it is. For a heavy wetter I would then put another folded flat strip style down the center for absorbency.<br><br>
I want to learn the kite fold next, I'm kinda new to flats, but love them already! Happy diapering!
