best friend doesn't know the amount of money in your savings account..? right?

I don't discuss this with people whose opinion I already know. Kind of like politics for me.

Hilary, that was a perfect description of how I feel!

Cat, you made me think of a friend of mine. I recently found out that my friend delayed her first 2 children's vaxes until they started school, thinking she had to at that point. Her third just started kindergarten. When her ex-husband and his new wife, a neonatal RN found out that the son she has with this ex was never vaxed (real involved father, huh?) they freaked out on her. They then took him to get all his vaxes during his visitation days with them. This boy had an adverse reaction to the Hep B at birth in 1998 that they (ex & rn wife) refuse to recognize (so did the docs at the time, of course). The new wife/nurse (who didn't even consider bf her now 1yr old) called her a neglectful mother, etc.

You will quickly find that motherhood will cause you to re-evaluate those you surround yourself with and call your "friends".
