I'm looking for the best hair dye, as natural as possible? Just trying to cover gray and stay true to my natural medium ash brown. Any suggestions? TIA

I absolutely love Henna. It comes in a wide range of colors, is all natural, and makes my hair look very natural. . .with some "highlights" where my gray used to be. I order it from mountain rose herbs.

I second the henna--it's what i'll use "when the time comes"

. My aunt uses it with fabulous results. She uses starwest botanicals. I've googled it and learned so much. There are some rules--regular hair color--home or professional--don't always mix with henna-dyed hair, for instance.
