Hello - just a follow up to Trisha's experiment re insert absorption - which ones do you like the best? Joey Bunz? Ducky's? HH stuffin's? CPF? And which are the trimmest?? DD doesn't seem like a heavy wetter but we haven't made the cd switch yet (I am like a madwoman checking the mail every day!). She is 4 mo on Sept. 30 and is EBF. She has slowed down on the poops but they can get explosive

Thanks mama's

Joey bunz or custom made inserts by smjae (closed). But I've never tried MOE's inserts. One thing I like about the JB or similar is that the shape fits in most any pocket diaper, not JUST the Fuzzi Bunz.

I have had trouble w/holes developing in JB.

I now prefer the hemp fleece inserts at babynaturale.com. I do not think hemp fleece will get holey like hemp jersey.

Plus, there is a 10% off sale through the end of the month!

Have you considered that the pocket dipes themselves are made of polyester?

Yes, I have and do not use them on my younger son but use the HH on my older son. I try to stay away from Polyester as much as possible but with Zeke it is hard because I have had such problems with leaks and the pocket diapers seem to keep it all in there where as not others for him.

I used JB's exclusively until a few months ago. Then I started to use MOE's inserts. There are pros and cons to both of them. 2 JB's seem too stiff and bulky, but 2 MOE's seem a little bulky. So I use one of each! LOL! My main gripe about the JB's is that they are a little narrow for my FB's and weren't getting as much coverage as I would have liked. But the combination of the 2 works wonderfully.

My JB's are also getting worn out very quickly. The serging is all but gone from them and they are only about 6 months old.

Preemie prefolds make excellent, cheap doublers, too.

I like the MOE micro-terry inserts. They dry way faster than the JB and seem lighter- which I would think is more comfortable. That's why I do cloth, my dd seems more comfortable and she perfers them.
