So, I'm about to embark into the realm of circular knitting and the idea of buying lots more sets of needles is not appealing, lol. Do you have an interchangeable set and do you like it? I know there are a few different ones out there: Denise, Boye, the WEBS bamboo set... I'd love to hear what you think of yours. Oh, and if you know of a particularly cheap source, do tell

TIA!

Cool! I had no idea such a thing existed. I might be interested in a set if people give them good reviews... :

A friend of mine was trying out some denise interchangables yesterday, but the needle kept falling off. Doesn't seem worth it to me. But I don't know anything about the other brands...

I have the Denise set.
Although I don't particularly care for the feel of them (they're plasticy), I think they're worth the $40 I paid. I bought them new from a seller on Ebay.
I've only had the needle come off the cable one time, and that was probably my own fault, 'cause I twisted it too much.
That said, I don't use my Denise set much, 'cause I prefer bamboo.
I think I would LOVE a bamboo set of interchangeables, though!

Oh, I would love a set of bamboo interchangeables, too!!! I definately prefer bamboo over plastic.
That said, I really love my Denise ones. It's easy switching to the magic loop, just add the long cable, and they can become stitch holders if needed, etc. I am so happy I got mine. Definately worth the money. In fact, I'm thinking of getting dh a set for himself.

I love my denise set so much that I am buying a second set (I tend to have LOTS of projects going at once.) I also love that the denise needles are pointier than usual, makes lace knitting go so fast and smooth. Though I also prefer bamboo as well, you can't beat the value of the denise set. I have seen the bamboo interchangeables online & they not only did not have the size range of the denise, I've also heard of many complaints about the connections staying secure. I have a few of the Boye needles & cords (they are sold as the Needlemaster set) but I am not fond of the stiff cords and I really dislike painted aluminum...the paint chips off and they start to snag.
