i think i am just going to splurge and buy a mei tei for carrying baby on back. she loves the moby as do i, but for the front carrys. would love to strap her on back once in a while and can't seem to feel safe and comfy with it tied on back. anyhow, i went through the reviews and i think the kozy and babyhawk stood out. can you all give any good and/or bad opinions on either??? which is comfier? sturdier?

Totally your preference. I know lots of people who LOVE Babyhawks, but I tried one and it just wasn't that great for me. I think the body is shorter? Not sure, only tried it for a few minutes in the store. But I have a Maya Tie, which is, in its body, much more like a Kozy, and we love that. But a little baby would be swimming in all that fabric!<br><br>
Really, I think they're both great mei tais, and you'll probably love whichever you get. But for "best", you'd really have to try them both!

Ask around in Finding Your Tribe. Head to a LLL meeting and see if anyone there has one. Find out if there's a babywearing group near you. If all else fails, order one, and you'll likely love it, but if not, you can send it back or sell it or trade it for a different one.

i have a BH and kozies. my fav is the first kozy i got. the 2nd one i got with longer straps on purpose thinking for back carries they'd be better but it's just too much fabric and i/ds don't have the patience...my dh is more comfortable int he bh so that's what he wears...unless he's wearing the ergo <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">
