My dogs have been walking on rough terrain and swimming in a river that really dries out the skin (of dogs and humans alike). When I gave them their bath today I just put coconut oil on their foot pads afterward because they're really rough right now. What is the best thing to use? I would love some recommendations.

Also, I'm still wondering if witch hazel is a good solution to use for cleaning their ears? That's what I've been using.

Ah, that would've been much easier than the coconut oil, though the dogs did enjoy licking it all up.

Thank you both.
