I got to thinking about Jenninseattle...how she doesn't like to have Nathan in any elastic at night. What a super mommy...why am I not doing that? Oh, because I mostly use KHW fitteds and Kiwipie wool wraps. But anyway they work! BUT I need suggestions for soakers that work well at night time but won't cost me and arm and a leg. Money is extremely tight here, school loans deplete every last penny we have at the end of the month...I have a VERY small diaper budget...VERY<span style="font-size:xx-small;">small</span>I am trying to do odd jobs to earn extra $ (and sell stuff on ebay, but that's not going so well. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">) Oh I know about Crats. I sold my brand spanking new Large ( sellers' remorse, but I needed the $$)...if you recommend that one, please let me know where you bought it! I need great prices!!!

What are his measurements? Nathan's growing out of a merino nighttime cover and I've just aquired two more soft nighttime covers for Nathan so I could part with the one he's growing out of if it would fit. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> Oh and <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"> to you for calling me a super mommy! I needed to hear that! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/luxlove.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="throb">

We love our aristocrats for nighttime, they are cheaper than wahm knitted covers. Also how about knitting soakers yourself? There are tons of free patterns out there that work great.

How about the woolie baby ones (I think that's what they are called, LOL) that <a href="http://www.granolamoms.com" target="_blank">Granola Moms</a> sells? They're on the frugal side, and from what I've heard, they work well <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

Dallin is a chubba bubba 17 inch waist, little hips though, 10.5 inch thighs (might even be 11) but he has a super short rise of only 16 over a diaper. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br>
Thanks Jenn!
