I'm thinking of making some NB diapers and I'll most likely have them top-stitched (no serger). Anyone can recommend a 'tried and true' pattern that works very well for that purpose? My babies are usually very average, not too skinny and not too chubby <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1"> TIA!

The Poo Pockets pattern is pretty basic. I know that a lot of people really love the Fattycakes pattern and the Very Baby one too. Good luck!

I used Shar's newborn w/umbilical scoop. It was great! Except I made it as a fitted, not a pocket.<br><br><a href="http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz/diy.php" target="_blank">http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz/diy.php</a>

You can use the free Darling Diaper newborn pattern, I hear the sizing is great on it. It's written for serged, but just add a seam allowance around the pattern (1/4" or whatever you prefer) and it should work just fine to T&T.

Thanks everyone! It's enough options to begin with, now I just need to wait patiently for the fabric and snap press to arrive <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">
