Where is the best place to sell "pre-owned" diapers? Ebay? The TP here on MDC? Another board?

I need to get some money pretty quickly and am looking for the best and fastest place to sell off my stash. The thing is, I don't have an expensive and coveted bunch of dipes.... I just have a bunch of prefolds and covers, and only a few AIOs.

Any suggestions?

I prefer the trading post, you don't have to worry about fees and whatnot. If it doesn't sell on the TP then i usually list it on ebay.

I posted once on the TP and it wasn't successful. Maybe because I didn't have pics? I know as a buyer, I really like to see pics beforehand, but for PFs, does it matter?

I agree. The TP is pretty good, then eBay. Although eBay seems a little slow now or something. I have some diapers there now (eBay I mean) that are not selling for very much.

try the TP first, and don't be shy about bumping it up after a day or so if it hasn't sold.
i have listed some stuff there that got ZERO interest and some that sold pretty quickly, like i just sold my fuz turnip right after i bumped it up. and my LTK got ignored for a week, i bumped it up and it sold immediately.
pictures may help, but i spent $18 getting a roll of film developed and put on cd to help sell some clothes here, and only got 2 nibbles. so who knows.

I like WAHMall.com-no fees and you can use pics which help people decide, plus it seems less like strangers, all moms lol (that makes no sense I know). I have sold a lot of non-wahm dipes there too. Then Ebay, just make sure you consider the fees you will pay when you pick your selling price and make sure you include what it'll cost to ship so you don't get barraged with emails.

I think there are no absolute rules about selling on the trading post, but IME I have sold things very rapidly (within minutes, even) when the diapers/covers I am selling are either (1): "hot", as in Fuzbaby, Righteous Baby, or the like (even when selling gently used for full price or very close to it); or (2) competitively priced items from reputable WAHM's. What I mean by competitively priced is about 50% of retail for an excellent condition, used item. I see lots of listings for excellent condition items, but are only a dollar or two off retail price (when the diapers are readily available). It doesn't seem that these items sell, unless the person has many items to sell and will combine shipping.

I also think that diapers that have pictures tend to sell faster, unless it's something that doesn't need a picture, like a Fuz diaper garden. But I think there's a psychological thing that happens where people are more likely to buy something if they can visualize what they're going to buy.
