Hi! My babe is 13 mos. I do have a mei tei but he doesn't like being on my back...he'd rather me carry him in front or on my hip. What's a good sling for hip carry? I have a moby wrap but not sure if that's the best or easiest for a busy toddler. Let me know what you ladies would suggest!

I have a 20-lb almost-one-year-old who vastly prefers hip carries to anything else, so we primarily use pouches. I have a Hotsling, which is very stylish and comfortable, and a Lovely Mama, which is inexpensive and custom made for a perfect fit. I would recommend either of these brands.

I second the vote for Hotslings. They are very comfortable and fashionable. The padded leg rails help with red marks on baby's legs.

Have you tried a ring sling? Very versatile and extremely adjustable, and you can nurse discretly in it.

Pouches are awesome but you have to know your size, it can take some trial and error.
