Best way to cook spaghetti squash?

I know I cut it in half, face down on a cookie sheet, and bake. But for how long? And at what temperature?

Thanks for any suggestions.

I cook it on 325 until you can stick a knife through the skin easily like a baked potato - at least half an hour. I've also heard to poke fork holes through the skin too but I don't know why. What are you making to go w/ it?
or wrap in waxed paper & nuke it for maybe 7-10 minutes till it's soft and the shreds come out easily.
Thank you! It was delicious!

We ate it with tomato sauce and ground buffalo spooned over top and a side of steamed broccoli. Yum!
I've always just poked holes in it and microwaved it. After removing the good parts, those can be sauteed for flavor, on not.

I cut mine in half... face up on the pan... in the oven at about 350 for however long it takes... put either butter or olive oil on it then sprinkle it with parmesan <sp> cheese

love that stuff

I used to put a bunch of various veggies inside a half of one and some butter, salt and pepper sometimes some parm again... wrap it in tinfoil and bake it
or put it on the BBQ

yum - we LOVE spaghetti squash. Our favorite way is to cut in half face down in the oven at about 350 until tender (30-60 min. I guess). Then in another pan I cook up some bacon and onions then flake the cooked squash into the bacon and onion mixture and mix. YUM!!
I like to add steamed veggies like zucchini, summer squash, peas, broccoli, and tomatoes to alfredo sauce and then pour it over the spaghetti squash. It's one of my favorite meals.
