I have several SOS and Cuddlebuns that have completely lost the elastic - how do I fix them? I am not a seamstress - my mom is bringing her machine. I don't want the new elastic up against my toddler's skin - how do I do this?

I know the sos has serged edges on it... The only way I can think of is to take out the serge add elastic and then re serge them...

I have an idea. I don't have an SOS or cuddlebuns any more so I forgot how they're constructed. But you might be able to just cut 2 small holes where the elastic goes, then run it through with a safety pin. Then sew at both edges. Does that make sense?

It wouldn't look perfect, but it would make them functional again

Both good ideas! I will let my mom decide after looking at the diapers!
