better late than never intro?

hello!

i've been replying to some threads, i guess it's time to do an intro!

i'm jenn! 25, married to john, also 25.

we have 2 kiddos, kayleigh (4 next week), and ethan (2 last month). i'm 8 weeks pregnant with #3, as i've mentioned in the baby #3 thread, lol. we're "from" the philly burbs, but living in chesapeake, va right now thanks to the us navy. in february we are moving to denver for SHORE duty!

kayleigh was born in a naval hospital, with an epidural and the whole shebang. her birth was wonderful, but left me wanting more from birth, rather than "just" the healthy baby. when we found out we were moving from FL to VA, i was researching birth centers & midwives, and came to find out there were no free standing birth centers in hampton roads .... but there was one heckuva homebirth midwife.

we ended up having #2 at home and it was wonderful! we'll (i'll!) be able to squeeze one more baby out with my favorite midwife before we move.

my dh deploys in a few weeks for 6 months, so i'll probably be around a lot during that, lol. hope to get to know you all better.

Glad to have another working on #3!
I'm going to do my first home birth this time 'round. It's always good to come across other mom's that have already had positive experiences with it.

Hey Jenn!! I was actually just looking at your pictures in another thread - you have 2 beautiful kids. Then I clicked on the pic of your husband and about spit out my water!!

I have almost the exact same picture of my husband!! I just wasn't expecting another navy spouse. We are in Richmond right now but my family is in VA Beach and Chesapeake so we travel down your way frequently. We are also working on a homebirth. Looking forward to getting to know you.
