Just had to post and tell you about the article I just read. Here in SC they just passed a law THIS year allowing women to BF wherever women are allowed to be. As if that wasn't cause for celebration enough, I just found out that the area hospitals will be putting cards in the "new mom" bags they send you home with. The cards have the state law on one side and how to report a business if they give you any trouble or how to praise a business for making it BF friendly! I think this is a HUGE step toward BF education. Now all women who have babies in this state will know what their rights are and hopefully will be more willing to NIP, feeling more empowered with that card in their pocket! I think it is wonderful and applaud all the women who went to battle the government for these new laws and cards!!!!

That is so perfect.

I was just in SC last week. I was nip like I always do when I realized... wait a minute... I'm not in Florida or Minnesota anymore... am I specifically protected, legally speaking, to do this? My at-the-ready has always been that I am legally a protected person when I'm nip, but I wasn't sure if I could use that in SC! Not that it would have stopped me, but you know, its good to know that the law is on your side.
