Look at the ingredients on a formula can. You have no idea what the cows were injected with, fed, or what fillers are in artificial milk. Weigh that against the small amount of medication that is excreted into breastmilk and it might make it easier to accept that bfing on an ssri is safe and still the best choice. Formula doesn't give your baby the natural immunities that your milk does. Formula isn't specifically formulated for your individual baby. Formula doesn't contain living cells like breastmilk. For me it was a pretty easy decision.
