I started giving ds (6.5 mo.) some solids this week. He doesn't seem to actuaslly swallow much. I think he may still have a bit of his gag reglex, so I just give him a tiny bit to play with while we eat. Anyway, it could be a coincidence, but it seems that he wants to nurse a lot more since he started solids. Did anyone else find this?

yeh,we started to joke that it was almost like she needed a little something to wash it down.

dd is still nursing more now that she is eating some solid food than when she was ebf. It makes me laugh! Actually, I'm relly glad though, as the calorie content of the food that she eats is pretty low, so if she was filling up completely on that she would probably not be getting enough nutrition...
