BF poo on suedecloth

Am I the only one?

I've just bought a few pockets for outings, and am having terrible trouble with the suedecloth ones - they come out of the washing with traces of poo still on them. Only the suedecloth ones, though - no issues with cotton and fleece.

No sprayer thingy, dry bucket, wash with cold soak, then hot (so two full cycles with spray rinses). We don't dump poo - it's still very BF-y.

Sometimes the suedecloth on some of my pockets will "stain" from a poop. It always suns out though. If you don't have a clothesline, maybe just lay them near a sunny window.

I've had this issue with my BumGenius suedecloth too. So, I started soaking the poo dipes in a little water (really just enough to saturate them) and bac-out until wash time, and have had much less staining/residue since then. Also, sunning will nearly completely remove BF poo stains from suedecloth.
I do dry things on the line, and stains aren't an issue but it looks more like residue than staining IYKWIM?

I can't soak till wash, because our bucket has a tiny little hole in the bottom.

Does it happen with all suedecloth, or just bumgenius? I'm about to buy some fabric to make some coverless pockets, and am umming and ahhing over the lining - hence the question.

Yes, IKWYM. I felt like there was residue near the leg elastic but staining elsewhere.

Could you soak for a few hours in the washer before washing?

I don't know - that's the only suedecloth Galen has. I haven't had that problem with fleece, though.

This is WITH a two hour agitated cold soak (love that machine!).

I think I'll avoid suedecloth from now on!
