I live in a slightly upper-income community and receive my health care from facilities that care for upper 2 income families and I am consistently shocked at the lack of bf info and support. I read about the "new advent of bf" but I'm certainly not seeing it in a demographic that could easily support it! I am happily nursing my 15 mo. old ( usually p.m. only now) and within my professional community I am still considered an oddity (?) Many mainstream "baby" magazines support bf gear but I guess they talk the talk but don't walk the walk......I kind of enjoy my "professional hippie chick" reputation, but do meet still so much resistance when I attempt to promote (in a non-confrontational approach) bf. Are we all dinosaurs????
