After orgasm, both of the self-lovin' kind and the Dh-lovin' kind, I get one really tight, almost painful BH contraction. My belly feels like a rock and it's very very uncomfortable to move, but there's no 'bad' pain, KWIM?

Is this normal? Can it hurt the baby? I'm only 26-ish weeks. Thanks!

Does it go away soon after? Are having them any other time?

Even when I am not preg after O-ing I feel a contraction. I *think* it is normal, but if you are high risk, or feeling like you might be going in to pre-term labor you should ask you midwife/ob/whoever-is-taking-care-of-you.

s

I vote normal as well. I do it everytime I have one. MW says it's normal. It actually helps your uterus and gets it stronger...like kegels.

Happens to me too. I laugh so hard watching my belly poke up! DH cracks up at me cracking up at myself. I admit I'm easily amused.

It's normal... if it's only one or two and then they go away, HOWEVER, if they come on for any length of time consistently after DTD, then that's not good b/c it could put you into pre-term labor. We got put on pelvic rest for a while b/c I'd get such good contrx going after DTD... now that we're off it and willing for babe to come of course nothing happens...
