So my DD was on the "bigger" side of things when she was born. Not huge by any means but a very healthy weight. Now...I have been shopping for clothing every 2-3 weeks to try and keep up with her growth! She was 9 lbs. 4 oz at birth and is up to around 17 lbs. and about 26". I am shopping second hand and still going to go broke very quickly! She's in 9-12 month clothing at 13 weeks old.

DS was very big too and totally leveled out at 6 months when he started crawling and even more at 9 months when he walked. I know she'll even out but I am so scared to even attempt to buy her stuff for the future! It's nuts!

My DS was 7 lbs 9 oz at birth and 19 1/2 inches now at 9 weeks hes 14.3 lbs and 25 inches, he is wearing size 6-9 month clothes most the time, all the stuff I got at my baby shower fit for like 2 weeks. Oh well my mom bought me clothes to get through and I have a friend with a 2 year old boy so I get all his old clothes so that's going to help a lot. My DH tells everyone "and its all from her breast milk!" its very funny, and it makes me feel good.

DS was born 8#3oz, 21.5" and was 16#, 25" last week at his 3mo appt. He's not that rolly-poly though - he's pretty solid. It's weird, some clothes he wears are 12mo size, and some are still 3mo size (though tight). I don't understand baby clothes sizing at all!

DD was 8lbs. 15oz. at birth, and we guesstimate that she is about 15lbs at 11 1/2 weeks. She is in 6-9 month clothes, and she has outgrown all of her prefolds, small and NB fitteds, and almost all of the NB and small diaper covers. I can still get away with the small Fuzzi Bunz, but not for more than a few weeks I think. Thank goodness my twins just got out of diapers. They were sharing mostly one size diapers, and I now have baby in them.

What really struck me was Easter. On a whim I put her into DD #1's Easter dress. DD #1 was 9 months old at Easter. Well, it fit baby perfectly at 11 weeks. I loved getting to see the dress used again, but holy cow!

DD was 7 even. and is about 13 weeks and now prob weighs 13lbs(she was over 12 a couple of weeks ago) Atleast a 6lbs weight gain...alot better then ds did. I'm lucky I got tons of hand-me-downs for both kids. She wears nothing smaller then a tight 3 month and up to 6-12(theres one shirt thats tight)

I just want to smoosh up all these kiddos! I look at J and she looks so big I just want to squeeze her but she's still to little to really really do it!

Hugs to all you Jan. Moms and kids. Time sure is flying!

My daughter was 10lb 6oz at birth but she lost two pounds in the first few weeks. She is about 11 1/2 pounds now at 3 1/2 months. We just weigh her on our bathroom scale with us once in a while so not exactly sure. But her hands and feet are small and I think she's going to be petite.

My boys were big at birth and bigger than average until about 9 months, then just average or small/average.
