Is there something I can do to get rid of crickets in my house? They are most definately unwelcome, and are deeply offending my delicate sensibilities.

Maybe one of those flea bombs that also kill other insects? We have them here too, but not bad enough to worry about it. The noise can get on your nerves though.

Good luck!
LOL, I adopted 2 cats to solve my cricket problem, haven't seen a live cricket since (but I do find the occasional half a dead cricket on the floor- gross)

Also, see what you can do to seal the house so they can't get in.

Yes, we have 2 kittens and they are probably the only reason we see the crickets. The kittens can get into our crawlspace and drag them out battering them around and then leave them strewn half dead around the family room. Its horribly nasty.

I guess maybe they will be better at pest control when they are older?
Our first year in this house we noticed a major cricket problem. They were everywhere. We were killing like 8-10 a night in the kitchen!

The next summer, hubby went on the offensive. He sprayed bug spray around all the entrances to the house that were not sealed very well. We saw less and less crickets. He re-sprayed every 2 weeks.

The next summer we had no crickets and DH sprays once a month now.

Figure out where they are coming in from and spray outside the house in that spot.
