We don't have one, but whenever we've encountered them, my kids have thought they were interesting for between 0 and 5 minutes, depending on the occasion. I'm sure there exist children who like them, but my kids are not among them!
my kids like the little ones the best. the big one can vary between tons of play and then nothing. we have the green one so a turtle shell is pretty much the most common thing it does.

the little ones however, can be bath toys, bowls, things to toss stuff into, hats... they really like those.
I always wanted one and let ds play with one in a store just last week- hoping he'd love it so I could get it for him for christmas

No dice. He wasn't interested in it at all and hated siting in it... (he's 17 mo fwiw)

We got one last year when DS was 2.
For us it is one of those things that comes out every so often and gets played with non stop for a day or two then is left alone again.

He does use it as a doll bed/chair more often though.

It did take him a while to be happy getting in an out of it, he is not keen on things which are "too wobbly" I guess we should have thought of that when we got it really.
We got one for DD when she was about 1.5 yo. She's almost 3 now, and still plays with it.

I like that it can really be played with in many ways... She stands on it, she jumps off it, she sits in it, she carries toys in it, she calls it a turtle, we spin her in it, etc. Just like any toy, sometimes it's a hit and other days it's not.

It's very sturdy too. I think I could probably stand on it.
