my dh is studying hypnotherapy. he read a story of a woman in one of his books who was hypnotized (in her 5 or 6th month) that during her labor her bottom half would go numb during contractions and it worked.
i took hypnobirthing classes for my first birth..but it wasn't really for me. i'm not really seeking info on that.
i want to know if anyone else, knows of, or has experienced birthed like this or similar. or has been hypnotized by a certified therapist for their birth experience...

I haven't personally, but I've read birth stories of women who have used this option. I've done both HypnoBirthing and Hypnobabies and have found Hypnobabies to be much more effective as it teaches hypno-anesthesia.
