I have attended 3 of the 5 meetings around the state and they are really fun. There are always a few pregnant moms and lots of moms who used midwives who want to meet like-minded moms, and there are always a few midwives or doulas who come to share their own birth experiences, too.
The conversation is always really educational and supportive and, for some reason, the placenta always seems to come up! Cooking it, planting it, freezing it, and disposing it ... you name it!
